Volunteer Spotlight - April 2020

Topics: AsburyKids

Mr. Andrew here, writing from the relative comfort of my home keeping socially (but not soul-cially) distant from you! I want to recognize and celebrate some of the amazing work our AsburyKids leaders are doing to stay connected with their small group kids in the midst of COVID-19. Many are using this opportunity to reflect on how Jesus is working in this time and the importance of remaining connected to one another. A few small group leaders even elected to host their small group kids in a Zoom meeting. Can you imagine twelve fourth-graders on the phone at the same time? Not only is this a sacrifice of time and resources, it takes serious planning and creativity. To our leaders who have chosen to lean in during this time, thank you! We are so grateful for our volunteer leaders who are impacting the lives of kids and families at Asbury.

Worship with Us on Sunday

Asbury's mission is Helping Others Follow Jesus. We are all about being and making disciples. It's not one or the other: … It's both for us. We follow Jesus, but we are actively seeking to help others follow Him, too. We believe that following Jesus is the key to life here and now, and eternally. So remember: be a disciple, and make disciples.
