Staying Positive During Quarantine

Topics: Community, Student Ministry, Students, parents

Many of our students have shared stories with us about how they’re keeping sane AND positive in the midst of staying home, juggling school, and not being able to see their friends in person. One of our 9th grade girls, Cate Linsenmeyer, was kind enough to share with us how she’s kept her perspective in check:

When quarantine hit, my family and I moved out to our family ranch to self-quarantine. While out here we have opened our pool, built my dream tree house, and gotten chickens!! Staying active, doing fun things, and being outside has been so nice. All of this has helped me stay positive!”

Cate showcases the resilient spirit of so many of our students. We are so proud of them!

Worship with Us on Sunday

Asbury's mission is Helping Others Follow Jesus. We are all about being and making disciples. It's not one or the other: … It's both for us. We follow Jesus, but we are actively seeking to help others follow Him, too. We believe that following Jesus is the key to life here and now, and eternally. So remember: be a disciple, and make disciples.
