Mark 9:24: “Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, “I believe; help my unbelief!”
As each of us has grown in our faith, we have experienced moments of doubt. This natural part of our faith development has the potential to bring us into a deeper faith. What matters in these moments is what we do with our doubts. Doubt should not be ignored but instead met with grace. Middle school and high school students are in a stage of life filled with questioning your environment. These are crucial moments in the development of your teen's faith. It is essential that in these times that you know that you do not need to have an answer to all of the questions your teen may ask. It is ok and good to say, "I don’t know, but we can find out." Seize this time as an opportunity to grow in faith with your teen. Seek out the answers together.
