NEW! Introducing Porch Play Days!

Topics: AsburyKids, Children, Community

Hi AsburyKids families! I hope you are doing well and staying healthy! At my house, the new normal has slowly creeped into our lives. We are wearing our masks now without thinking about it. The kids don’t throw too much of a fit when asking if they can go to (Parent: insert your favorite kid activity where full of germs) and the answer is “not today, because, you know, virus.” We have had our fair share of meltdowns, sibling rivalry, snuggles, movie nights, and distance learning. It feels like we have already done all of our normal “summer things,” but still facing two and half months until school hopefully resumes in August.

Thank you so much for following along with us the AsburyKids Facebook page. Virtually connecting is great for the short term, and we are so thankful we live in an age we can FaceTime loved ones and friends. However, we know our families need something a little different to do. The “newness” of virtual connection is wearing off, and that is why we are so excited to announce Porch Play Days with AsburyKids! We miss you so much and would love to visit our AsburyKids on your porch or yard! We will bring two of our AsburyKids staff, some fun games, activities, and can even deliver a packet of AsburyKids lessons for home!

Sign up for your spot today. This is totally free. We just want to love on your kids and help partner with parents to raise this generation to know Jesus as their best friend forever. We will be at a totally safe social distance, outside, wearing masks, and will have lots of hand sanitizer. Parents can feel free to stay and play with us or sip your coffee in some much-needed peace inside (we totally get that too!). We will add spots if we need too. Hope to see you soon!

Worship with Us on Sunday

Asbury's mission is Helping Others Follow Jesus. We are all about being and making disciples. It's not one or the other: … It's both for us. We follow Jesus, but we are actively seeking to help others follow Him, too. We believe that following Jesus is the key to life here and now, and eternally. So remember: be a disciple, and make disciples.
