Don’t Forget Your Parent Cue!

Topics: Student Ministry, Students, Ministries

As all of us in Asbury Students continue integrating scripturally-based curriculum more into our weekly schedules. Recently, we have implemented Orange curriculum because we want to ensure YOU, the parent feels continually empowered to be an influence to help your student follow Jesus. At most, we get to see your student 4 hours and 15 minutes a week just during regular programming. That is a small number in relation to the 168 hours in a week. We recognize that you, as their parent, have the most time with your student. You will always be the number one influence in their life. We want to partner with you every step of the way! One amazing way we want to do that is to utilize Parent Cue. Parent Cue is a part of Orange Curriculum meant to help bridge the church and your homes.

Parent Cue is an app that you can download FOR FREE. Through the app, you’ll be able to stay connected to what your student is learning in Asbury Students. Also, you can add multiple children so you can see all of your kids whether they are in Asbury Students or AsburyKids. There are blog posts for you to read, and conversation starters for you and your student about what they are learning. Parent Cue helps you take the most advantage of the 936 weeks of influence you have with your child from birth to graduation. It counts weeks for you and helps you make the most of your time in simple easy ways. We hope this is an encouragement to you as parents. Our staff is cheering for you and wants to always partner with you any way that we can! Download the Parent Cue app now and be looking out for more information on how Asbury Students will be using it even more in the coming months!

Worship with Us on Sunday

Asbury's mission is Helping Others Follow Jesus. We are all about being and making disciples. It's not one or the other: … It's both for us. We follow Jesus, but we are actively seeking to help others follow Him, too. We believe that following Jesus is the key to life here and now, and eternally. So remember: be a disciple, and make disciples.
